The number of cases COVID-19 cases reported in St. Johns County actually dropped by one since Saturday after officials from the Florida Department of Health completed investigations of each case.
There now are 211 cases in the county as of Monday afternoon.
The county's death toll remained at four. All are men, with ages of 67, 52, 56 and 79.
The number of cases includes 202 residents and nine visitors. Of that number, 71 were from zip codes 32081 and 32082, according to the Florida Department of Health.
Age ranges of county cases are 2 to 91. Of the cases, 105 are men and 97 are women. The health department is still gathering information on the sex of the other patient.
Thirty-nine patients have required hospitalization and the rest are in self-quarantine.
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an executive order requiring any “non-essential” workers to stay home until the virus threat has subsided. And he ordered cars to be stopped on highways from New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Louisiana with orders that all visitors be quarantined.
The governor also suspended vacation rentals and ordered hotels, campgrounds, RV parks and rentals not to honor reservations from “non-essential” guests until at least until May 4.
As of Saturday afternoon, 36,897 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Florida. The state’s death toll stands at 1,399.
