In an effort to assist with economic recovery, St. Johns County has launched the Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program to provide emergency funding for local businesses. The goal of the grant program is to help offset the temporary loss of revenue and help keep small businesses open during and after this global pandemic.
Beginning last Wednesday, St. Johns County-based businesses may apply to the program for up to $5,000 in emergency grant funding. In order to be eligible for the St. Johns County Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program, businesses must:
The St. Johns County Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program to support small businesses and the local economy is made possible through support of the St. Johns County Industrial Development Authority. Funds may only be used for rent, mortgage, utilities, or payroll through June 2020. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-submitted, eligible, and approved application basis. Non-profit organizations and businesses not located in St. Johns County, engaged in any illegal activity, or based within a home are not eligible for the Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program.
