St. Johns County Property Appraiser Eddie Creamer recently filed for re-election to his current post. “Four years ago, I ran on a platform of using my private-sector business experience to help modernize our property appraiser’s office, streamline government bureaucracy, improve customer service, and find cost-savings to provide efficient and effective government,” Creamer said. We’re three years into that mission and getting great results.”

He added, “We’ve reduced the number of vehicle assets and cut operating costs by double-digits using cost-saving measures that improve productivity and property owners’ experience. We’ve updated our technology platform at no extra cost to taxpayers and we’ve improved accessibility for residents seeking homestead exemptions resulting in nearly 60% of exemptions being filed online. As our campaign sets out for another four years, the mission remains the same – deliver a superior customer service experience while at the same time saving taxpayers’ dollars and making government more efficient and effective. I’m excited about sharing our success story and look forward to the coming campaign.”

Before taking on the position as St. Johns County Property Appraiser, Creamer retired as Regional President of Ameris Bank and was formerly CEO of Prosperity Bank. Creamer and his wife, Julie, have made St. Johns County their home for the last 19 years. They have two adult sons, John and Daniel. Creamer treasures time with his family when he isn’t working, serving in the community, or out running. He has completed seven marathons and five half-marathons and is an American Cancer Society Determination Athlete.
