Nick Primrose, previously in the general counsel’s office for U.S. Sen. Rick Scott and Gov. Ron DeSantis, announced that state Rep. Cyndi Stevenson of St. Johns County officially endorsed his campaign to take over her seat in Florida State House (District 18).

“Nick Primrose is a thoughtful conservative,” said Stevenson. “Very bright, confident enough to ask questions and strong enough to stand on conservative principles. We need people like Nick in Tallahassee, and I am pleased to endorse him for the state House.”

“Representative Stevenson has been a strong advocate for St. Johns County and has led the charge in protecting the wildlife and natural beauty of our county as well as championing reforms for small businesses,” said Primrose. “I am thankful for her endorsement and will continue the fight to preserve our treasured beaches, protect the wildlife corridors and trails in our beautiful county and carry the torch for small business success.”

Primrose served as the former deputy general counsel to Florida Governors Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott, where he provided legal advice and counsel regarding economic prosperity, transportation, election security and judicial appointments. While serving DeSantis, Primrose simultaneously served as the general counsel for the Division of Emergency Management, providing legal advice during hurricane and natural disaster response, as well as navigating executive actions related to COVID-19.
