The link throws festive holiday party

Though Santa Claus is a very busy guy this time of year, he took the time to visit the link Saturday, Dec. 18, for the facility’s holiday party.

Kids were invited to fill out wish lists or bring their own from home. In fact, there was a special “Santa Mailbox” on site that Santa could load on his sleigh and take back to the North Pole following the party.

Kids could also get their photos taken with Santa and the Grinch.

The party also featured outdoor carnival-style games and entertainment, LEGO robotics fun with Coach Ivan, tumbling fun with Coach Reilly, Christmas cookies, hot chocolate and Grinch Punch. Kids also had an opportunity to ride the Choo Choo Train.

SAPNA Academy presented a “Polar Express” skit on the link stage, and there was a Christmas concert performance by the Kelly and Scott Quintet at nearby Flagler Health+.

Also, attendees had a chance to see the winning entry in the link’s Gingerbread House Competition.
