The Palms at Ponte Vedra hosts artist for weekend exhibition

Artist Roz Beck presents her work at The Palms at Ponte Vedra last Friday, Nov. 17. Beck hosted an art exhibition for residents of the assisted living and memory care facility throughout the weekend. The artist’s work has its roots in post-World War I in Brooklyn, where her father introduced her to art. Beck refined her painting skills in the 1960s and discovered marble art in the 1970s, which she grew to enjoy. Beck also has a background in art history and art appreciation, lecturing privately and at community college classes in Long Island.
