The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach recently announced that it has been awarded the Distinguished Club award, as determined by the annual Distinguished Clubs award program conducted by BoardRoom magazine.

“We’d like to congratulate The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach for earning Distinguished Club status,” said John Fornaro, publisher of BoardRoom magazine, “Special recognition also goes out to The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach’s General Manger, Rob Schlingmann, CCM, CCE, CAM, as well as the club’s board of directors, its department heads, and the entire staff for their efforts in providing an excellent member experience.”

According to the Plantation, it is the only private residential community in Northeast Florida to earn this status. BoardRoom magazine’s merit-based Distinguished Clubs award program uses a club-specific rating system that recognizes the club, its management and its staff based on proprietary criteria and evaluation process that distills and measures a club’s member experience.

“After many years of preparing, we had our evaluation and have now been recognized as one of the top private communities in America,” Schlingmann said. “I thank all of the efforts of the staff and membership that assisted us to achieve this goal.”
