As the PGA TOUR returns to official competition for the first time since THE PLAYERS Championship, the 2019-20 academic year has come to an end. While our world has been forced to adapt to many new routines and practices, few have been more challenged than members of our educational community.
No lesson plan could have prepared us for the circumstances we’ve faced over these last few months. However, school administrators, teachers, students, and families have done an outstanding job meeting virtual instruction needs. Congratulations!
Education is one of THE PLAYERS’ key charitable pillars, and through our charitable partnerships with schools and nonprofit organizations, I am fortunate to witness the incredible work of Northeast Florida’s educators.
Since my wife and I joined the thousands of parents assuming the roles of classroom teachers for our boys, I have gained a greater appreciation for the work educators lead each day. They are essential and valuable to our community and deserve an extra round of applause.
