Scores of people came to watch the large Christmas tree on the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse lawn go from dark to twinkling Friday, Nov. 29.
In what has become a free community tradition overlooking the 18th hole of the Stadium Course, the tree lighting event also featured live musical performances, songs of the season and hot chocolate.
Children’s eyes lit up along with the tree, decorated with huge colorful balls that they could see themselves in.
