The fourth annual Game On! Ponte Vedra Beach Triathlon presented by Bowen, Hanes, & Company Inc. took place Sunday, Oct. 9, at Mickler’s Landing. More than 350 triathletes participated in the Olympic- and Sprint-distance races that began at sunrise.
Participants swam in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, biked on the peaceful roadways of A1A through Guana River State Park and ran by the well-manicured homes on Ponte Vedra Boulevard. The spectacular views, pristine beaches and natural running environment of Ponte Vedra Beach make the Game On! Race Event popular among athletes.
Game On brought athletes from all over the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area. Additionally, 19 states were represented at the event.
