Dr. Joy Reichenberg, principal of Palm Valley Academy, accepted a $5,000 donation from the Grand Cypress Winn-Dixie store team for winning the store's flyer contest. The community celebration was held noon to 2 p.m. March 25 at the store, located at 100 Little Cypress Drive. Pine Island Academy came in second and received a $2,500 donation, and Bartram Springs Elementary School received a $1,000 donation for third place.
