Five Tool Training recently announced the opening of its new location at ABOVE Athletic, located at 14797 Philips Highway in Jacksonville.
The facility features 15,000 square feet of field turf with a roof over the entire playing surface. The company's primary services include baseball and softball training for children ages 6 to 18 years old. Five Tool offers private lessons, small group training bootcamps and summer/day camps. With the expansion into its new home, Five Tool is now providing sports training for almost every outdoor sport imaginable along with hosting special events, corporate parties, youth birthday parties, dodgeball games and more.
Owner Laura Taylor started Five Tool Training in April 2014. Weather has always hindered Five Tool's efforts to grow the sport of softball and baseball, but the company says the new facility will mitigate that problem.
Additionally, Five Tool has added Sam Kszepka to its coaching staff. Kszepka spent time at the division I and III levels as both a head and assistant coach. Joe Berardi, the baseball director, rounds out the new hires with his experience as a pitcher and position player.
Five Tool has partnered with BASL (adult soccer leagues), First Athletes Sports Training (ages 2 to 6 sports training), S4 Sports Academy (after-school sports), Back2Basics Football and Tres McGibony (youth soccer training) in an effort to offer a one-stop outdoor sports experience. Crossbare, Inc. is a partner for the women's dance fitness programs for moms.
