Looking to update your yard, patio or balcony with vibrant, colorful plants and flowers or unique yard art? Then head to St. Augustine this weekend for the 21st Annual Flower & Garden Expo.

To be held at the St. Johns County Agricultural Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday April 16 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday April 17, the event will feature a variety of vendors bringing a wide array of horticulture including herbs, succulents, tropicals, colorful flowering plants, butterfly plants, native plants and more. The expo will also offer lectures and presentations by master gardeners throughout the weekend as well as art, gardening accessories, and materials and equipment needed to enhance and rejuvenate a garden.

The Garden Club of St. Augustine will also present its annual Flower & Horticulture show. Working in collaboration with the quilt show sponsored by the Piece Makers Guild, the theme of both shows this year will be “Gateway to the Universe.” A free children’s area with fun activities will also be available.

Proceeds from the expo benefit EPIC Behavioral Healthcare.

Farm to Fork Brunch

This year’s expo will also feature the popular “Farm to Fork” spring brunch. Prepared by Chef David Bearl, the brunch will feature locally sourced products and a presentation on the local area’s gardening and culinary heritage. Admission to the brunch requires a separate ticket; admission is $20 for adults, $10 for children and includes admission to the expo. Seating for the brunch is limited; to purchase tickets, visit www.epicbh.org.

Expo tickets are $5 for a two-day pass, with children under 11 admitted free. The expo pass also provides free admission to EPIC’s “A Taste of St. Augustine” event on April 23.
