The Jacksonville Area Golf Association’s first team event of 2018, the JAGA Spring Four-Ball, took place on Monday at Marsh Landing Country Club, with 40 teams competing over four divisions. New this year was a Scratch Division, which drew 16 teams and some of North Florida’s most accomplished golfers.
Marsh Landing member George Halvorsen served as Tournament Chairman and was supported by fellow members Ray Cabano and John Tancredi.
Though the skies were threatening late in the afternoon round, play was completed on schedule. The following are the flight-by-flight results:

The 61st JAGA Senior Amateur Championship will be played at Eagle Harbor Golf Club in Orange Park, April 16-18. Entries to date have been steady. The field features three divisions (age 50+, 60-69 and 70+) and a maximum of 78 players. Entries for the Championship close April 11, interested competitors can sign-up at WWW.JAXAREAGOLF.ORG.
