The passion for pickleball has grown immensely in recent years and continues to reach new heights and now a local resident can share that passion with the rest of the county.
Pickleball in the Sun, the world's first pickleball marketing agency dedicated to elevating the sport's presence through brand partnerships and experiential activations, announced the launch of its exclusive ambassador program as part of its April celebration as National Pickleball Month.
The program is designed to engage passionate pickleball players from key cities across the United States to further promote the sport, foster community engagement, and build excitement around the rapidly growing pickleball movement.
Players in 11 major cities will be chosen to serve as a pickleball ambassador representing the brand.
"We're excited to build a vibrant community of pickleball ambassadors who are not only passionate about the sport but also dedicated to expanding its presence nationwide," said Laura Gainor, Founder and CEO of Pickleball in the Sun. "This program is about more than just exclusive gear and fun challenges. It's about fostering deeper community connections, amplifying pickleball in key markets, and encouraging players to share their love for the sport."
As part of the representation, they will receive high-quality pickleball gear from top industry brands and a curated kit that includes an exclusive custom Pickleball in the Sun ambassador paddle from Ivy Cut, a JOOLA pickleball paddle, Franklin pickleballs, exclusive apparel by Kitch, OS1st pickleball socks, a subscription to Pickleball Magazine, gear from Trelle, and even more.
At the heart of the initiative, it is all about creating engagement with the ambassadors and their community to engage residents in new and creative ways that have yet to be explored.
An example of these engagement opportunities is the Pickleball in the Sun Passport, which is a gamified challenge booklet that encourages ambassadors to play at unique courts, organize local events, and connect with others to grow the sport.
The Pickleball in the Sun ambassador program will select one ambassador from 11 cities with Jacksonville being included with other growing pickleball communities, such as Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Phoenix and Chicago.
