‘An Evening at the Farm’ theme of Beth El’s Annual Night of Giving

The Beth El The Beaches Synagogue planning committee has been working hard on the synagogue’s Annual Night of Giving, “An Evening at the Farm,” to be held Feb. 29.

It will take place at Atlantic Beach Urban Farms, a climate-controlled, pristine greenhouse featuring aeroponic technology.

“The event space at Atlantic Beach Urban Farms is like no other,” Tracy Aquila, vice president and chair of the event, said. “Its farm chic, hip and beautifully decorated.

The gala committee wanted something different this year, “something a little bit more casual, more inviting,” Tammy Shumer, a committee member, said. “The venue allows our guests to use both the inside and outside to mingle and relax.” Adding to the farm-like setting, food for the evening will be catered by Berry Good Farms Food Truck.

The Annual Night of Giving is Beth El’s most attended and anticipated event.

“Our members can’t wait to celebrate with each other” Aquila said. “Its our largest fundraiser and helps raise donations for our general fund.” Fundraising efforts this year will include sponsorship levels as well as a “Giving Tree,” a display of leaves demarcating different levels of commitment.

The Annual Night of Giving, “An Evening at the Farm” is available to anyone in the community who would like to participate and have fun. For reservations, visit beth-el-gala-2020.eventbrite.com. Call the synagogue office at (904)273-9100 for more information.
