Applications available for Sunset Rotary ‘Service Above Self’ scholarship

The Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach Sunset is accepting applications for its “Service Above Self” scholarship.

The club will award two $1,000 scholarships to an Allen D. Nease or Ponte Vedra High School junior or senior who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to community service and who exemplifies the Rotary Club motto, “Service Above Self.” Eligible students will be evaluated on their completed applications, scholastic achievement, community service and an essay on the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self.”

Applications must be received no later than March 3; incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Scholarships will be awarded in early April. Completed applications may be mailed to Janeene Hart, president, Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach Sunset, P.O. Box 612, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32004.
