Residents at Arbor Terrace Ponte Vedra had the opportunity this week to learn more about pointillism at an art class taught by a few local residents.
Held on Monday, July 9, the class was led by Elizabeth Paul and her children Alexis Magnano, a Landrum Middle School student, and Chase Magnano, a Ponte Vedra High School student. The class included a presentation on the life and work of Georges Seurat, a renowned painter and draftsman in the art of pointillism.
After the presentation, residents used Q-tips to paint dots to form a picture similar to Seurat’s paintings.
