Tickets are now on sale for the Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens’ (JABG) third annual meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at WJCT Studios in Downtown Jacksonville. This event seeks to educate and inform the public on JABG’s successes from 2024, and to provide insight into the future of the organization.

At Seeding Jacksonville, attendees can look forward to an evening of networking, beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres, followed by exclusive presentations from community leaders and this year’s keynote speaker, Tres Fromme from 3. Fromme Design.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be heading into our third year of Seeding Jacksonville, and we're incredibly excited to share all the wonderful things we've accomplished over the past year,” said JABG Board President Lindsay Starner. “We have so many exciting announcements and updates, and we can’t wait to connect with our community and celebrate the growth and positive impact we've made together!"

Seeding Jacksonville also serves as an annual fundraising event for JABG, bringing in impactful speakers year after year to inspire supporters and nature enthusiasts.

Following in the footsteps of past years’ speakers like Mary Pat Matheson from Atlanta Botanical Garden and Donna McGinnis from Naples Botanical Garden, Fromme boasts more than 25 years of experience transforming landscapes into breathtaking experiences. JABG has past experience with Fromme, who helped design Glowing Gardens, the organization’s first solo holiday light show, and has worked closely with JABG board and staff to develop the highly anticipated Children’s Garden design. He also led the development of JABG’s master site plan.

“We're honored to welcome Tres Fromme to Seeding Jacksonville this year,” said Dana J. Doody, executive director of JABG. “Tres’s innovative approach to design perfectly aligns with our mission to cultivate wonder and understanding through the beauty of Northeast Florida’s natural world. This event promises to be a source of inspiration for garden enthusiasts and community leaders alike.”

WJCT Studios is located at 100 Festival Park Ave., Jacksonville. Go to jacksonvillearboretum.org/events/seeding-jacksonville to
