Aviv Kaslasi has been a successful local businessman for several years, and he attributes his success to the way he treats his customers. Here, he tells us a little bit about what he does.

What is the name of your business?

4 SEASONS A/C LLC

What products and services do you provide?

We offer residential and commercial HVAC services, which include repairs, regular service and installation.

Tell me a little about your professional background. How did you get into this line of work? How long have you been in business?

I sort of fell into this trade unexpectedly when a friend asked me to help him with his start up, that was many years ago. I have always had a passion for helping people and this was a way to do just that and make a living.

I understand there is a great demand for your services and that customers are very happy with your business. What is the secret to your success?

Honesty. You must be honest with people always, in business and in life in general.

Main reason I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own HVAC company is because I grew tired of constant push for sales in this industry. I would come home every day just emotionally drained because I was constantly pushed to upsell things and essentially lie to people, because the bosses always focused on numbers.

My focus is on people and relationships. I believe that if you do right by people, they will do right by you. My business has been thriving for the past four years solely based on word of mouth. I am beyond grateful and blessed.

What do you like best about what you do?

This is going to sound so cliche but people. I am such an introvert in my personal life but with my customers and I just feel free. Knowing in my heart that I am doing right by people and helping them not only save money but time as well, just makes me more comfortable when interacting with them.

Do you live in Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Jacksonville or somewhere else? How long have you lived in Northeast Florida?

I have been in the area for over 15 years and have always lived in or near Ponte Vedra. I love this area.

What do you like best about living in this area?

I love the convenience of being a short drive from everything, honestly. If we want to take family out sightseeing, old St. Augustine is right there. Need to get to the airport — under an hour! And, of course, the abundance of farmer’s markets, which are one of my family’s favorite things to do on weekends.
