The fourth annual Beaches Tour of Homes kicked off Dec. 7, featuring 13 Jacksonville, Atlantic and Neptune Beach homes available for viewing.
Guests were able to view the interior of some of the area’s most charming bungalows, ranch houses and eclectic abodes. Additionally, for the first time this year, the event included a VIP exclusive after-party in one of the homes.
All homes featured were volunteered by residents who opened their doors to guests interested in viewing the variety of architectural and interior designs that exist around the beaches area. The annual event is hosted by the Beaches Town Center Agency, which is a nonprofit devoted toward the improvement of the Atlantic and Neptune Beach central business district.
Debbi Summer of Atlantic Beach was one of the residents who participated in the Tour of Homes. The interior of her three-story beachside residence incorporated elements of the home’s landscaping, featuring seafoam blues, jute and natural wood.
“I love bright colors and wanted a beachy look and I think I achieved it here,” she said. “We appreciate the aesthetic of the beach and have enjoyed it now for 15 years. I would say I am currently living in my dream house.”
