Darling to lead Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside
Cory Darling has been named president and CEO of Ascension St. Vincent's Southside, effective March 1.
Darling served as president and CEO of Ascension St. Vincent's St. Johns County, where he led the hospital’s successful operational start-up. Under his leadership, the hospital achieved year-over-year growth annually while establishing deep community roots and a culture centered on mission-focused care and service excellence.
“Cory has a proven ability to lead with purpose and deliver results that matter for our patients and our community,” said Scott Kashman, interim market lead of Ascension St. Vincent's. “His experience strengthening operations at St. Johns County will help position Southside to continue growing as a vital resource for Jacksonville families.”
With 18 years of hospital administration and operational leadership experience across multiple markets, Darling previously held COO roles at Memorial Hospital Jacksonville, TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho, all within HCA.
Sean McAfee, chief nursing officer and chief operating officer at St. Vincent's St. Johns County, has been named interim president of the hospital.
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management promotes McLaughlin
Morgan Stanley recently announced that John McLaughlin, a financial adviser and senior portfolio management director in the firm’s wealth management office in Ponte Vedra Beach, has been promoted to managing director.
McLaughlin, who has been with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management since 2011, is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of South Carolina in finance.

Real estate company announces three promotions
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty has announced three leadership appointments and promotions from within the company. Realtor/broker Rebecca Romaine is managing broker of the St. Augustine office, Realtor/broker associate Jennifer Lawrence is assistant manager of the World Golf Village office, and Realtor Onnalee “Lee” Ricci is assistant manager of the Palm Coast offices.
Romaine joined the company in 2012 as a Realtor serving St. Augustine and St. Johns County. A St. Augustine resident with deep roots in the community, she brings strong market knowledge, long-standing relationships, leadership and a legacy of public service to her new managing broker role.
Lawrence joined the company in 2017. She began her real estate career in Atlanta and moved to the World Golf Village area in 2010. Lawrence brings more than two decades of real estate and business management experience to her new role.
Ricci joined the company in Palm Coast in 2019. She began her real estate career in New York before relocating to Florida. Ricci is a Certified Relocation Specialist and Certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist and holds designations in Corporate Inventory Management and E-Certification.
