BRASS begins 25th year of symphony support

Posted

On Sept. 27, BRASS (Beaches Residents Actively Supporting the Symphony) welcomed Nathan Aspinall, assistant conductor of the Jacksonville Symphony, at their 12th annual Bonanza, a concert and dinner celebrating the new symphony season. Sauer Incorporated of Jacksonville sponsored the event at Sawgrass Country Club.

BRASS President Michael Imbriani welcomed the group saying, “Tonight BRASS begins a year long celebration of its 25th year of supporting the Jacksonville Symphony, a feat not accomplished by many fundraising organizations.”

The musical program “Inside the Music” included excerpts from the symphony’s upcoming season.

BRASS is now gearing up for it’s participation in Deck the Chairs beginning November 27th in Jacksonville Beach at the Sea Walk Pavilion. BRASS actively supports the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra by fostering orchestral music appreciation, promoting concert attendance, providing financial support and facilitating music education.
