Next MSD meeting to host Commissioner Jeremiah Blocker
The next meeting of the Ponte Vedra Beach Municipal Service District (MSD) will be held Monday, April 8, at Our Lady of the Sea Catholic Church Cultural Center (545 A1A N, Ponte Vedra Beach). District 4 County Commissioner Jeremiah Blocker will be in attendance to give an update on important issues facing the county and will take questions from the public.
Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library to host bi-annual Book Sale April 9-13
The Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library will host their bi-annual Book Sale Tuesday, April 9, to Saturday, April 13. The event serves as a fundraiser for the library to buy new materials, host special programming and more. The Book Sale kicks off with a preview sale on April 9 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. for Friends of the Library (FOL) members. The Book Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on April 10, and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on April 11 and 12. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 13. On this last day, attendees can buy a bag for $10 and fill it to the brim with books.
Volunteers needed at The PLAYERS Community Senior Center
Volunteers are needed at THE PLAYERS Community Senior Center to serve as coffee bar attendants on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m./noon; assist in the dining room on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 3 to 3:30/4 p.m.; and to assist the front desk receptionist on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 12:30/1 p.m. If interested, call Amy Leach at (904) 209-3686, or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com.
