The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Ponte Vedra Beach Division hosted its Chamber at Noon at the Sawgrass Beach Club from 11:30 to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, to discuss the 2020 Census.
Sponsored by Fields Auto Group and Setzer, Cochran, Soares and Hubbard Pediatric Dentistry, the Chamber discussed how state lawmakers are considering how to assure that citizens are accurately accounted for, explaining that while the census is a federal responsibility, its result can shape many aspects of local communities.
Florida Partnership Specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau, Nadine Meinhardt, spoke at the meeting to share updates and inform the Chamber of what’s to come.
