Northeast Florida Association of Realtors held its Installation of 2016 Officers and Awards Gala, Navigating Relevance Through Professionalism, on Jan. 20, 2016, at the Jacksonville Marriott. Ponte Vedra Beach Realtor Clare Berry received one of NEFAR’s most distinguished awards, its Circle of Honor, at the awards ceremony.

The award recognizes a member for many years of exceptional service and contributions to the community and the state, as well as to the real estate profession.

Berry is active in many civic and charitable organizations, including THE PLAYERS Championship, Ponte Vedra Beach Rotary, Leadership Jacksonville, BEAM, Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Beaches and Cummer Museums, St. Johns County Chamber - Ponte Vedra Division, Junior League, Florida Master Naturalists and Audubon.

Her real estate contributions have included chairing the NEFAR Education Committee and the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service, and volunteering for a number of Realtor committees and think tanks.

“I’m so honored to receive this award from my peers,” said Berry. “It’s a blessing to love what you do as much as I do, both in my career and in my volunteer activities. I’m lucky enough to do this work in exciting and beautiful northeast Florida, where every day we enjoy a fantastic quality of life.”

Berry has been a Realtor in this area for 30 years. After working for a large general brokerage, and later a developer, she opened her boutique firm in 1993 in Ponte Vedra Beach at The Shoppes of Ponte Vedra.
