Coast Guard Auxiliary to offer boating safety course

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary 14-04 Flotilla will offer a safe boating course from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday May 14 at the Captain’s Club, 13363 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville.

Participants will learn in a classroom setting from experienced U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors. Topics to be covered include safe boating operations, navigation, equipment requirements and knot tying, as well as state and federal boating laws and regulations.
