On Thursday, Oct. 8, a capacity crowd gathered at the TPC Clubhouse for Celebrating Possibilities, a speaker series targeted at inspiring and invigorating professional women in the community.
The program began with Mary Marx, President and CEO of PACE Center for Girls, who shared the success story of the PACE Center for Girls. PACE has grown 60 percent in the last 6 years since Marx has taken over the helm.
To personalize the message, Melinda Patterson, graduate of PACE, shared her moving story of turning her life around as a young teenager.
Patterson ultimately graduated from law school and has recently opened her own law practice in Jacksonville Beach.
Patterson is now speaking to young audiences in the area sharing her story of personal triumph.
Patty Mohler, LHMC and published author, was the Guest Speaker at this Celebrating Possibilities event.
Mohler’s talk, “Ordinary to Extraordinary,” lead the audience through meaningful experiences covering the many aspects of Mindfulness.
Aimee Boggs and Lisa Barton co-founded Celebrating Possibilities in 2009 during the financial crisis to create positive energy with their friends and clients.
Their audience has grown significantly since 2009 and has expanded to include young women and daughters so they may share in the education, inspiration and celebration that is the mission of Celebrating Possibilities.
