The Daily's Foundation annual Charity Golf Tournament at Sea Island raised $775,000 for charity, with $600,000 donated to Nemours Children's Health.

Aubrey Edge, president and CEO of Daily’s, presented Jim Digan, president of the Nemours Children’s Health Alliance, with the donation at the tournament’s event reception. The contribution from The Daily’s Foundation will go toward their $5 million commitment to Nemours Children’s. The event featured two days of golf and a private performance by country artist Jessie James Decker.

The Daily’s Foundation also raised $150,000 for the Tim Tebow Foundation and $25,000 for HopeKids Nashville, the charity supported by Eric and Jessie James Decker.

“At Daily’s, we believe that building a nicer community begins with a focus on the health and wellbeing of our children and their families,” said Edge. “Our partnership with Nemours Children’s has allowed us to make a larger impact through their cutting-edge research and targeted care. We are proud to join them in their mission and look forward to partnering with Nemours for years to come.”

Nemours Children’s and Daily’s both share a mission to improve the health of children and their families. John Lancaster, diagnosed with stage four cancer at the age of 2, attended the reception with his parents, Charlotte and Micah Lancaster. The Lancaster family addressed the attendees, sharing their emotional story.

“World-class care and award-winning physicians make all of the difference when your child is fighting to live,” Charlotte Lancaster said as she spoke about her son’s journey at Nemours Children’s.

"Nemours Children's Health is honored to be partners with the Daily's Foundation and grateful for their continued generosity," said Digan. "Through our work together to impact communities and families, we help to create the healthiest generations of children.”

The Nemours Children’s and Daily’s partnership began in 2019. Daily’s has hosted numerous events in support of the pediatric health system, such as the inaugural Daily’s Foundation concert featuring Brantley Gilbert’s “Not Like Us” tour and point-of-sale campaigns that encourage customers to donate to Nemours Children’s.

In honor of their generosity and partnership, the Daily’s Foundation Pavilion at Nemours Children’s was dedicated in 2020.
