The Ponte Vedra Democratic Club gathers to discuss issues and concerns of Ponte Vedra-area Democrats and welcomes new members at any time. During the COVID-19 situation, the club is meeting by Zoom.
Upcoming meetings are: 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, with local candidates on the November ballot; and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9 to discuss Paul Begala’s new book, “You’re Fired.”

Coalition encourages voters
Blue Wave of St. Johns recently released a PSA encouraging everyone to vote. It can be found at bluewavecoalition.org/we-the-people-pledge.
The video there features a group of St. Johns County children as young as age 4 asking Americans to cast their votes in 2020.
Blue Wave Coalition brings together grassroots organizations in Florida to elect leaders who share progressive and democratic values. The St. Johns County coalition includes multiple organizations deploying a data-driven regional campaign to ensure that principled leadership becomes and remains a reality at all levels — locally, statewide, and nationally — in 2020 and beyond.
Blue Wave Coalition of Florida is not affiliated with any political party but functions as a broad umbrella that welcomes and engages organizations of all kinds in creating change through the electoral process.
