Drees Homes has promoted Mark Paulsen to Jacksonville Division president.

In his new role, Paulsen will oversee all aspects of Drees’ Jacksonville Division operations, including sales, administration, production, warranty, product design, land acquisition and development. Prior to this appointment, he serves as Midwest region production manager for the company.

Paulsen joined the company in 2001 as a builder in its Dallas Division. Following the company’s purchase of Harmony Homes in 2005, he was promoted to Jacksonville construction manager and subsequently Midwest region production manager, working from the company’s corporate headquarters in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.

“Mark was instrumental in helping to bring the Drees culture and philosophies to this new Drees division, and I am confident that he will continue to serve as a dedicated leader to the Jacksonville division,” Southeast Region President David Hausfield said. “Over the course of his career, I have been impressed with Mark’s depth of knowledge, desire to succeed, passion for the industry and his dedication to The Drees Company.”

Paulsen graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

“I’m very excited to return to Jacksonville as division president,” Paulsen said, “and continue the recent success Drees has achieved here.”
