In 2018, after 15 years working in the events industry, Jade Robinson noticed a gap in the Northeast Florida event staffing market, and along with co-founder Robert Jackson, she set out to fix it.
Their event staffing business, All About You Staffing, was born from the idea that staffing should go beyond general labor and focus on building genuine, trustworthy connections with business owners.
“I always tell clients that you’re not just getting general labor, you’re getting an actual human being,” Robinson said.
Over the last six years, Robinson and Jackson have developed a business that is deeply community-driven, one that prides itself on lifting up local business owners and providing exceptional customer service, setting them apart in the industry.
Post pandemic, All About You Staffing introduced a community youth development program by partnering with nonprofit Developed 2 Overcome. High schoolers as young as 15 have the opportunity to join Robinson’s staff and learn critical hospitality, communication and life skills to help them excel in their future careers. When students are preparing for college, Jackson even provides mock-interview sessions and resume building classes.
“Being a business owner now, someone who is able to provide opportunities for people to work and learn skills has been such a huge achievement for me,” Robinson said. “Knowing that I’m contributing to the economic development of Northeast Florida … and helping lift people up is one of my favorite things in the whole world.”
All About You Staffing provides services to St. Johns, Duval, Clay and Nassau counties. Each team member is fully trained in-house to handle a wide variety of events including catering, decorating and bartending at locations such as banquet venues, corporate offices, private homes and more.
