Teacher turned author and youth group mentor B.C. Tweedt debuted the fourth installment in his Greyson Gray series Aug. 9 with “Rubicon,” a book exploring a variety of topics and themes targeted towards young male readers and aimed at getting them engaged in reading.

Centered on quirky boy-hero Greyson Gray and his friends, “Rubicon” explores topics such as the relevance of present-day political and cultural climates, tolerance, division and terrorism in another journey to save the world. Though “Rubicon” maintains lightheartedness and humor that can be likened to “Indiana Jones” and “The Hardy Boys,” the book tackles issues such as dealing with the loss of a parent, betrayal, sense of self and finding meaning in religion.

In “Rubicon,” Gray learn the ropes of ammunition, braves explosions and works alongside friends to fight terrorists and face an incredible threat that will challenge him in new ways.
