Foxtail Coffee Co. has expanded into the Jacksonville market, adding a café in Ponte Vedra Beach to its rapidly growing list of locations.

The expansion into the Sunshine State’s northeastern region follows recent openings in Newnan, Georgia, and Lady Lake, Florida, and is Foxtail’s 38th store.

The café, located at 260 Front St., Suite 260 in Sawgrass Village, is officially open. In addition to serving Foxtail’s full-coffee menu, the new spot offers Foxtail Coffee breakfast products, light lunch offerings and Foxtail merchandise.

The store’s Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream counter features handcrafted ice cream and sorbet, all made from scratch in Central Florida. Beer and wine are also available. A second location in San Marco is scheduled to open in November.

Foxtail Coffee Co. opened its first location in 2016 and has grown to 38 locations. Starting with its first café and roasting facility in Central Florida, Foxtail has extended to both Florida coasts and into the South Florida area, with stores in St. Petersburg, Melbourne, Boca Raton and now Northeast Florida.

In 2021, the Florida-based company also opened its first café outside the Sunshine State in Georgia. More stores will open in the Atlanta market later this year.

“The Jacksonville market is eager to welcome Foxtail Coffee Co. to the community,” said Ty Claggett, Foxtail Coffee Co. franchisee. “In the Foxtail tradition, we have created a warm and welcoming spot, and we encourage our friends and neighbors to stop by for their favorite Foxtail coffee, ice cream or affogato and linger. Whether you’re meeting friends, catching up on work, or just indulging in some quiet time, we look forward to serving you, our community, Florida’s best coffee.”
