Habitat for Humanity seeks applicants for new homes

Posted

Habitat for Humanity of St. Augustine & St. Johns County is accepting applications for its homeownership program through July 30.

Applicants may qualify based on four main criteria: the applicant’s need for housing measured by criteria outlined in the procedures; the ability to pay modest house payments; a willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity of St. Augustine & St. Johns County; and the applicant’s residence or place of work, at least one of which must be located in St. Johns County. Applicants must have lived or worked in the county for at least one year.

Those who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply; applications are available online at www.habitatstjohns.org or at the Habitat for Humanity office at 7 Hopkins St. in St. Augustine.
