Hideki Matsuyama withdraws from THE PLAYERS

Hideki Matsuyama has withdrawn from THE PLAYERS Championship due to a lingering back injury. He was replaced in the field by Patrick Rodgers in the 8:40 a.m. grouping off of No. 10.
