‘High-end, authentic barbershop’ opens in Nocatee Town Center

Posted

V’s Barbershop, a franchised, authentic barber shop will open a new location within the Nocatee Town Center this Thursday, July 11, next to the new Chop House Nocatee site location.

While a “Grand Opening'' celebration and event will come this fall, the new shop will open for business at 300 Pine Lake Drive, Suite 103, Ponte Vedra Beach, at 10 a.m. Clients are encouraged to download the V’s Barbershop mobile app to schedule appointments or call 904-594-2887 if they prefer to schedule over the phone.

In keeping with the brand’s authentic reputation, the Nocatee location features antique barber chairs from the 1950s and iconic, era-appropriate sports imagery on the walls amongst nostalgic flooring and decor, all of which provide a relaxing atmosphere for a transformational experience.

The professionally trained stylists can accommodate traditional or contemporary cuts paired with other services such as old-fashioned hot lather, straight-edge razor shaves, facials, beard treatments and relaxing head and neck massages.

While V’s caters to the more masculine client, it is a kid-friendly, family-friendly establishment. V’s Barbershop also recognizes and thanks the nation’s active-duty and retired-military members, first responders and frontline health care workers by offering a 20% discount on any service, every day.

Together with seasoned entrepreneur and Nocatee resident Nick Crouch, Operating Partner and Master Barber MoonJoo (MJ) Park said she looks forward to fulfilling a much-needed respite for area gentlemen and their families.

Park started her barbering career in Houston, Texas, in 2018. Along with her years of experience, she brings extreme attention to detail and a deep commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences for each client. In fact, Crouch was a client of MJ’s previously and raved about her abilities, which led to the decision to join forces and bring the V’s experience to the Nocatee community.

About V’s Barbershop

In 1999, Jim Valenzuela, known throughout the company as “Mr. V,” opened the first V’s Barbershop in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up in Tucson, some of Valenzuela’s fondest memories were the days spent with his father going to Nick’s Barber Shop for a haircut.

After his own son was born in 1994, Valenzuela wanted to recreate those same experiences but was unable to find a local barbershop that would accommodate these requests. Subsequently, this helped Mr. V identify a need in the marketplace for a first-class barbershop, one that would allow family experiences.

Nearly 25 years later, V’s Barbershop has more than 60 locations across 19 different states and has become the place to go for the authentic barbershop experience.
