Carolyn Flynn of Holly Hill, Florida has been selected as the winner of the 2016 Beaches Art Fest Poster Contest.

Contest organizers said Flynn’s entry, “Paradise,” “captured the essence of the event and its coastal community.”

“We had dozens of entries from all over the country,” said Chris Hoffman, executive director of the Beaches Museum. “The expansion of the event from one to two days has widened the reach and interest from artists in and outside of our area.”

Flynn’s winning piece will be featured on Art Fest promotions and will be available for purchase at the event.

“As a lover of nature art, and the Florida lifestyle, I thought my colorful beach drawing would lend itself well to the theme of the festival,” Flynn said.

The 3rd Annual Beaches Art Fest will be held Oct. 1-2, 2016 at the Pablo Historical Park in Jacksonville Beach. For more information, visit www.TheBeachesArtFest.com or call (904) 241-5657.
