JaxTHRIVE, a teen volunteer, nonprofit organization with a mission to educate and inspire refugee and disadvantaged children, designed and led a S.T.E.A.M./sports/healthy nutrition camp for the St Augustine Homeless Coalition children during the final week of their summer holiday. JaxTHRIVE volunteers also provided backpacks, school supplies, clothes, snacks and even a new bike for the excited children.
JaxTHRIVE is ramping up to offer both face-to-face and virtual tutoring to children in the Notheast Florida region and beyond. The teen JaxTHRIVE leadership board is also planning an outdoor gala that will be held in October. For details, reach out to JaxTHRIVE at Jaxthrive@gmail.com.
