The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership St. Johns Class of 2022 is hosting an Alumni Reunion & Celebration Event on Thursday, June 23, at the Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine.
Leadership St. Johns alumni, supporters and friends, as well as Chamber members, are encouraged to attend to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, live music and a silent auction. All proceeds will help the Leadership St. Johns Class of 2022 renovate the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) room at the St. Augustine Boys & Girls Club location.

Exposure to science, technology, engineering and math is critical during the tween years, when young people’s natural curiosity drives interest and builds capacity for success in these disciplines. The St. Augustine Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place for young people to go after school and in the summer. Through quality programs and services, Boys & Girls Clubs help ensure that young people graduate on time with a plan for their future, lead healthy lifestyles and demonstrate good character and citizenship.
The Leadership St. Johns Class of 2022 has committed to renovate the STEM room to provide local young people with engaging hands-on learning opportunities that foster their interest and success in science, technology, engineering, art and math — skills critical to their success in the workforce. Planned items include a LEGO table, Chromebooks, VR equipment, smart boards and more.
