Letter: The True Cost of Healthy Living

Posted

To the Editor:

Everywhere we look, we’re told to choose healthier, less-toxic alternatives — from personal care products to household cleaners to food. As we learn more about the dangers of toxic exposure, time is of the essence.

But the safest options are rarely the affordable ones. As prices rise, families are forced to choose between what they need and what is safe. This leaves families with fewer resources at a greater risk.

As a community, we must demand stronger policies and hold companies accountable for making safer products accessible to everyone.

Health and safety shouldn’t be luxuries. They should be the standard.
