On Saturday, April 12, members of the community gathered at the link in Nocatee for linkThrive Women’s Retreat.
The event lasted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and treated guests to a transformative retreat designed to nourish the mind, body and soul while exploring the latest innovations in wellness and entrepreneurship. About 50 to 60 women were in attendance at the event, there to gain insights and connect with like-minded individuals.
Guests began the day with complimentary coffee and breakfast pickings while they gathered to listen to opening remarks from Gurpreet Misra, co-founder of the link and Sapna Foundation, Cordes Lindow and Navenka Gabrielson.
From there on out, it was up to the individual how they wanted to fill the day. There were multiple options for activities, seminars and expert-led sessions on a variety of topics. Guests could sign up for movement sessions and pilates lessons or listen to empowering wellness seminars in the main room.
Lindow, a business coach and teacher, spoke at a session titled “Design Your Life: Align with Your Values and Live in Your Sweet Spot.” Gabrielson, a health coach and body harmony specialist, led a session titled “Unlock True Vitality: By Identifying What Feeds Your Body and Soul.”
Fellow local business owners set up booths throughout the venue, creating a lively atmosphere of connection, collaboration and creativity through interactive demos and engaging conversations.
Guests spent the day at their own pace, with a delicious lunch included to round out the experience.
By the end of the afternoon, guests left feeling inspired, reenergized and more connected — to themselves, to each other and to a growing community of women empowering women.
