Nease High School graduate Christian Hull was recently awarded a $500 Haven Hospice Academic Scholarship.
Hull will apply the scholarship toward her studies at St. Johns River State College.
“I’m so grateful for this scholarship,” Hull said. “This is just another stepping stone towards my future, and I can’t wait to pursue a career in the medical field,” she continued. “My dreams are slowly becoming reality, and I’m ready to take whatever new adventure life throws at me. Anything is possible with hard work and a positive mindset.”
The Haven Hospice Academic Scholarship is awarded to one deserving student who is enrolled in the ASSIST, or Aid and Support for Students in Sudden Transition, program in the St. Johns County School District and has been accepted into St. Johns River State College.
The ASSIST program, through the St. Johns County School District, is a response to the requirements of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. Haven Hospice is a not-for-profit community hospice care organization located in North Florida.
