The team that brought you the Telly Award-winning TV series “Property Tours of NE Florida” is back with a new show, “Living on Vacation.” It’s an exploration of some of Florida’s premiere attractions – and great reasons to make the Sunshine State home.
Brady and Alyssa Hammond of The Hammond Family Group host this new series.
Floridians are fortunate to live in a place many people view as a getaway. A short drive can take residents and their families to top-grade vacation spots anytime the spirit strikes. For that reason, living here really can feel like “Living on Vacation.”
The series has three episodes, each to air on ABC25 (WJXX) at noon on designated dates, always subject to national telecast pre-emption, of course.
Here’s the schedule:
Brady and Alyssa Hammond of the Hammond Family Group are a top producing team in area real estate. They had been living in Kansas City when Brady’s parents moved to the First Coast in 2008. Visiting them here, the couple discovered the local real estate market and made the move to this area about five years ago.
The Hammonds saw the value of a TV show that would celebrate the area, its lifestyle and some of the most interesting homes in various local neighborhoods. They launched their first show in April 2024.
Last year, they added a second season and won the Bronze 2025 Telly Award for a Travel & Tourism TV Series, a major accomplishment as shows in that category have been created and broadcast by major national entertainment companies.
“Living on Vacation” is a new direction, a celebration of all that the word “vacation” implies. The episodes will especially appeal to families who want to give their children some of the experiences that only Florida can provide.
