What’s that new phrase millennials are saying? “New showroom, who’s this?” Close enough. With a new electric car expected to be released next year, Porsche Jacksonville is moving a couple miles east of its original location on Atlantic Boulevard and expecting to open sometime between July and August of 2020.

“The new facility will be able to handle the all-new electric car that should be released in the first quarter of 2020,” said Porsche Jacksonville’s general manager, Moe Ghanimah, who mentioned that with Porsche’s expansion, the new service department will be double in size.

“We’ll have a huge indoor showroom with every model represented, an exclusive delivery bay and also two new boutiques,” Ghanimah said. “One is for current model Porsche vehicles and the other is a classic Porsche boutique, which is any Porsche chassis that’s been out of production for 10 years or more.”

Ghanimah also mentioned that the new dealership will have luxury amenities and services such as valet for service to one’s home, hand car washes, second deliveries to ensure customers are confident in operating their vehicle and even complimentary service on a Porsche owner’s first visit.

An indoor complimentary restaurant will also be open for guests so they can sit back, relax and watch multiple big-screen TVs at the lounge while their cars are being serviced on site.

“Porsche is getting bigger and bigger,” said Ghanimah. “We hope to show potential Porsche owners what it means to be a part of the Porsche brand by delivering a memorable and exciting Porsche experience.”
