Palmer Catholic Academy students share time and talent

First graders at Palmer Catholic Academy in Ponte Vedra Beach shared their time and talent with other children at a recent class Fall Party. All class parties at the school include a service project, and this one focused on providing outreach to children being treated at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

The first graders made activity bags for young patients at the hospital, using special markers to decorate fabric bags with words of encouragement and uplifting artwork. Then they filled their decorated bags with activity books, pencils and crayons, handheld games and play dough, as well as other goodies. First grade party organizers and parents donated all items to create and fill the activity bags.

The bags were delivered to young patients a few days after the party and distributed by Wolfson’s Volunteer Services Department.
