Pawgrass Dog Spa has everything a pup needs for a relaxing day of pampering. Their salon and mobile dog spas offer something unique. Pets receive spa treatments in individual rooms, which keep stress and chaos to a minimum.
Owner Jennifer Teneyck and her husband, John, developed the spa intentionally to ensure that each spa service is calming and enjoyable for pets. Many spas have all of the pets and groomers in one room, and this creates an overwhelming environment, Teneyck said. She and her groomers find that pets behave better and enjoy their time much more when they are the sole focus.
The mobile spa is a convenient option for owners who have a busy lifestyle and want consistency for grooming care and peace of mind. It’s helpful for dogs who don’t like traveling, as well.
Teneyck and her husband moved to Ponte Vedra in 2020 and opened the first of three mobile dog spas. Three years later, they opened Pawgrass Dog Spa Salon located in Sawgrass. Both the salon and mobile spas offer teeth brushing, hair color, nail trimming, filing, gland expression, maintenance, hydro-massage baths, haircuts and more. All treatments and products are available at both the salon and mobile locations. The salon also has a boutique and biscuit bar where they sell all of their products and pet treats.
Pawgrass loves adding fun, seasonal offerings to their spa menu. For the fall, they have several shampoos with fresh fall scents including clarifying apple and moisturizing pumpkin spice and cranberry.
Teneyck has more than 20 years of experience as a dog groomer and understands how important it is to prioritize your dog’s wellbeing. She hires groomers who have the same values and the best experience. Teneyck and her staff continue their education every year by attending a grooming expo in Orlando.
At Pawgrass, pets receive the best care in a no-rush salon with a kind and patient staff.
Along with each spa treatment, dogs will receive a free blueberry facial. To learn more, go to https://pawgrassdogspa.com. To schedule an appointment, call 904-532-3235.
