Place your bids on one-of-a-kind items and experiences while helping pets in need during the 15th Annual Pin Up Paws Auction, running Monday, Sept. 29, through Saturday, Nov. 1. This community-driven fundraiser features an array of exclusive offerings, from St. Augustine getaways and dining to specialty shopping.
“We are so excited to celebrate the 15th year of Pin Up Paws,” said Krista Brown, development director for the St. Augustine Humane Society. “This event has grown into one of our most meaningful traditions, bringing together the generosity of local businesses and supporters to directly help families and their pets. Every bid makes a difference in providing affordable veterinary care and essential services for our community.”
The annual auction serves as a lead-in to the organization’s signature fundraising event, the Pin Up Paws Gala, which will be held Thursday, Oct. 23, at The White Room in historic downtown St. Augustine. In addition to in-person auction opportunities at the gala, attendees will enjoy an evening of entertainment, dinner and community.
Auction items are being added daily and range from local dining at favorites such as The Blue Hen and St. Augustine Fish Camp to a two-night stay at the Guy Harvey Resort. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward programs that reduce pet overpopulation, prevent animal surrender and ensure access to veterinary resources for all families in Northeast Florida.
A live raffle has also officially launched for one lucky winner to receive a Michael Dolsey Tuna Stand-Up Paddleboard, donated by Aqua East Surf Shop. The 10-foot 6-inch board comes complete with fins, a 10-foot coil leash and an adjustable aluminum paddle. Raffle tickets can be purchased online at www.sahs-give.com or in person at the St. Augustine Humane Society. A winner will be drawn at the Pin Up Paws Gala. Participants do not need to be present to win.
