Ponte Vedra Beach teen Shari Lin Muldoon was awarded top honors in the recent Imperial Beauties of the World competition in Orlando.

Participants included contestants from Australia, the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Scotland and United States among other countries. Muldoon represented the state of Florida in the Teen (16-19) division, competing in the interview, fashion runway, evening gown and talent competitions. Following the preliminary competitions, she was named Miss Photogenic and Model of the Year, earning crowns, trophies and scholarship money.

At the pageant finals, Muldoon received awards for Positive Personality (world interview award) and World Supermodel, which combined the judge’s scores in both fashion runway and evening gown. She was also recognized onstage for Prettiest Eyes and Miss Personality among all teen contestants. She came in first-runner-up for the overall World teen title.

The daughter of Linda Muldoon, Shari Lin Muldoon will be a junior this fall at Ponte Vedra Beach High School. She has studied dance with both Miss Felicia and Miss Dawn of Ponte Vedra Beach, attends Christ Episcopal Church, enjoys the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, and was recently added to the staff at Vicar’s Landing in Ponte Veda Beach. She is also an experienced local performer who has appeared in CEC’s annual Nutcracker, “Oliver” and “Peter Pan” directed by Jason Woods.

Muldoon is currently National Teen Miss Heart of the USA, which she earned based on beauty (evening gown and casual fashion), confidence when speaking on stage, judges’ interview and community service. She volunteers for several organizations, including Holt International and CEC’s theatre camps for autistic children and young people of all ages. She was also recently selected as a National Calendar Queen for the Miss Heart organization.
