For the fourth year in a row, Ponte Vedra Wellness Center hosted a wellness fair for the community on Sept. 28.
Free and open to the public, the event also celebrated the Wellness Center’s 13th year of operation in the Ponte Vedra community and ultimately benefitted The Mission House of Jacksonville Beach.
“I am honored to be celebrating 13 years, and I know that our success is due to the support of this community and of our patients,” said Ponte Vedra Wellness Center owner Dr. Erika Hamer, whose office is located at the First Atlantic Bank building at the corner of A1A and Palm Valley Road.
In addition to food and music, this year’s wellness fair featured a variety of local wellness and health care providers. Each wellness table offered a complimentary service or special offer to those in attendance, such as chair massages, postural screenings, fitness evaluations and more. Metro Diner and Peterbrooke Chocolatier of Ponte Vedra Beach offered treats, and Kona Ice was on hand with fruit-flavored shaved-ice. Guests also enjoyed checking out the various raffle prizes on display that were donated by local businesses.
This year’s wellness fair participants included Balini Mind and Body, Connect Hearing, CrossBarre, Eccela, Full Circle Women’s Care, Healing Massage of Ponte Vedra, Health Partners LLC, Podiatry Associates of Florida/Beach Division, Ponte Vedra Eye Associates, Ponte Vedra Training Company, Ponte Vedra Wellness Center, PRP Wine International, SJC Chamber of Commerce PVB Division and First Atlantic Bank.
